Job Description:

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Edwards, CA.

The selected candidate will be the main liaison to Cybersecurity for IT. They must be proficient in performing STIGS, GPO's, and vulnerability remediation.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters. 14 years of applied experience may be considered in lieu of education.

  • Current DoD 8570 IAM level 1 security certification (example: Security+ CE); OR must have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start date

  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays and weekends.

  • Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.

  • Must maintain a valid U.S. passport.

  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.

  • Must attain and maintain certifications required for the role after SAP access.

Proficient in the following:

  • Knowledge of JSIG, and ICD 503 requirements.

  • Interpreting ACAS/ NESSUS scans

  • Performing SCAP scans on various Operating Systems, vulnerability remediation, and providing inputs to the POAM to Cyber Security

  • Configuring / managing Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016/2019

  • Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

  • Active Directory administration

  • Microsoft IIS configuration

  • Microsoft SQL Server configuration/administration

  • Microsoft SharePoint configuration/administration

Helpful but not required:

  • Installing / configuring / managing server hardware (servers, storage arrays, etc.) and networking equipment

  • Installing / configuring / managing VMWare (vSphere Hypervisor, vCenter Server, vSAN)

  • Task automation, writing PowerShell scripts and batch files

  • Familiar with Microsoft .Net Framework

  • Familiar with HPE DL380 servers

  • Cisco IOS, switches, and routers

  • Oracle DB administration

  • CentOS / RedHat Linux administration

  • SolarWinds and/or Splunk
