Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Proposal Analyst or Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in either Palmdale, CA or Oklahoma City, OK.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops, plans and schedules proposals

  • Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications

  • Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments

  • Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts

  • Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings

  • Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives

  • Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a Proposal Analyst level or a Principal Proposal Analyst level

Basic Qualifications for Proposal Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of Pricing, Finance, Contracts, or business experience, or a Master's degree with 1 year of stated experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal Proposal Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of Pricing, Finance, Contracts, or business experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of stated experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace/defense industry experience

  • Working understanding of TCoPD (Truthful Cost or Pricing Data) and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) requirements

  • Working understanding of Pricing & Estimating processes

  • Experience using Pro-Pricer and/or CostPoint

  • Risk Analysis and S-curve technique experience
