Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The selected candidate will lead integration of allProduct Supportbusiness areas& activities in an office environment supporting a restricted program. Product Support technical functions include Reliability & Maintainability, Logistics Support Analysis, Training Systems, Support Equipment, Technical Publications,Modeling & Analysis, and Hardware Support.
The following summary defines position roles and responsibilities:
Responsible to the Product Support IPT leadfor coordinating technical, schedule, and cost products for all activities within the Product Support organization.
Oversee and manage ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Project Management, Engineering, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs),Business Management,Quality, Program Office, Suppliers, and Customer.
Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Effectively communicate program and project status to both internal and external Customer leadership communitieswith regard to technical milestone achievement, cost, schedule, and risk management.
Ensure that all technical, cost, and performance deliverables are completed according to contractual requirements.

Bachelor's degree with 3 years ofappliedexperience ORMaster's degree with 1 year of applied experience.
Experience in Project Management or Project Engineering
An active DoD Secret with Periodic Review/ Investigation within the last7 years
Ability to obtain Special Program Access
An active DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance with Periodic Review/Investigation within the last7 years
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Knowledge of Technical Data including Technical Manuals, Tech Orders, or Training Courseware
Experience in Earned Value Management
