Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Modifications and Sustainment Manager for the B-2 program based in Palmdale, CA. This is a dual role involving both direct support to programs and people management.

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership to a logistics and engineering team

  • Hardware asset management

  • Coordination of TCTO document/kit development

  • Supporting engineering studies to address diminishing manufacturing sources (DMS) challenges, reliability improvement

studies and support equipment requirements

  • Successful performance of various efforts with respect to cost, schedule and risk in accordance with EVMS practices

  • Functional management duties that include employee engagement, personnel development, hiring, performance

assessments and training

ASMGMT

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least5 years of experience in engineering, logistics, and/or supply chain management

  • Prior experience leading technical projects such as R&M design improvements designed to improve system performance/effectiveness.

  • Active DOD Secret clearance, in scope within 5 years is required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain special program access (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Prior military experience in the aviation operations/maintenance field

  • B2 Program Access
