Northrop Grumman AeronauticS Systems (NGAS) is currently seeking Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our STRIKE teams in Palmdale, CA.
Responsible for directing activities to Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing Process Engineering, related to the definition and implementation of all airframe fabrication and assembly process, including the equipment and standard tools required to ensure product integrity and provide technical support to AS Manufacturing Center. Define and maintain the overall direction of Manufacturing Engineering process disciplines and provide management oversight, employee administration, and technical direction of all Manufacturing Engineering personnel. Applicant must have experience and extensive knowledge of manufacturing planning, visual aides and systems. System experience requires in-depth knowledge of MES, SAP, PDM and TCM and how they interface with engineering release, material requirements and manufacturing execution. Understanding of related command media and audit experience is required.

Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of manufacturing engineering and/or manufacturing technology experience OR High School Diploma with 11 years of manufacturing engineering and/or manufacturing technology experience in lieu of having a degree.
5 years' experience in leadership
Must have complete understanding of aircraft operations and maintenance as well as a thorough knowledge of aircraft scheduling.
Technical management experience with expertise in both manufacturing process development and production process engineering.
Demonstrated experience communicating with various levels of leadership.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance newly granted and or reviewed within 5 years and ability to obtain Special Program Access and maintain both.
The ideal candidate must support a flexible working/location schedule.
