Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager of General Manufacturing 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. The selected candidate will manage a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives and company policy.
Project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services-type contract.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment OR High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
5 years of leadership experience
Must have the ability to effectively communicate and present presentations with various levels of leadership.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD secret clearance and Special Program Access
Must be able to work any shift or work schedule
