Northrop Grumman Mgr Engineering 3, Ground Operations Manager in Palmdale, California
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Systems Integration and Test/Evaluation Palmdale, Ground Test Engineering and Operations Department is seeking a Ground Operations Manager. The Ground Operations Manager will lead a group of 44 personnel comprised of Managers, Test Engineers, and Technicians supporting program test article activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
Manage all aspects of maintenance team, to include program and functional duties, for 44 staff members located at 3 different test locations.
Ensure adequate processes are executed, ensure training requirements are met, and perform all functions of cost management (EVMS).
Develop and publish test schedules and test procedures for system testing. Support test planning working groups.
Interface with system design and analysis functions to develop test and test data requirements.
Specify test article configurations and coordinate the integration of test modifications with system design engineering.
Identify and coordinate the availability of test facilities and test ranges with cognizant company, subcontractor, and government agencies.
Document all modifications, test activities and test results performed on the test article.

Bachelor of Science in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
7 years of related experience
A current DOD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtainPAR is required.
- Significant experience in the developmental test maintenance environment
