Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a Program Control Manager 2 to support our Palmdale, CA location.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage a team of Enterprise Program Planning analysts.

  • Coordinate program Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes.

  • Lead development of consolidated program Long Range Strategic Plans and Annual Operating Plans.

  • Manage program area financials, including: financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, estimate at completion analysis, and working capital analysis accounts receivable forecasting, treasury forecasting, unbilled analysis, and aged receivables analysis).

  • Execute and support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation.

  • Work with the business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics.

  • Support initiatives and ad hoc requests from Division, Sector, and Corporate leadership

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 6+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control or 4+ years with a Masters Degree

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain Special Program Access

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite - Experience in leading Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan process

  • Experience in leading a monthly financial forecasting rhythm

  • Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR

  • Experience in presenting financial data to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) processes and procedures

  • Experience with Indirect budget planning and forecasting

  • Experience with company procedures for Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan development
