Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Technical Publications Manager 2 to support multiple programs. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Responsibilities include the direct management of a department consisting of twenty technical data developers and illustrators across two locations.
Assignment of recurring and non-recurring work tasks
Manage and be responsible for EVMS, cost and scheduling of all discrete work packages for the technical publications efforts
Proposal development and technical performance of specific work packages on multiple contracts
Responsible for establishing processes and procedures to ensure high quality in all products delivered to both internal and external customers.
Functional responsibilities include personnel administration (hiring, performance evaluations, salary administration, etc.), department budget administration, and leading department engagement activities.

BA/BS degree from a recognized, accredited college or university.
5 years of experience in logistics and or operations & sustainment.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate with all levels, both internally and with Government customers.
Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance within 6 years and the ability to obtain Program Access.
A working knowledge of technical publications production, including schedule performance, technical research, writing and editing conventions, review control, graphics practices and formats, interactive electronic technical manuals, and publishing techniques.
Relevant experience developing and managing a Technical Publications team.
