Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Sr Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will require minimal to no travel, with a home office located in Palmdale CA.
The selected candidate will help drive GSC integration across multiple tiers of the Strike Supply Chain. They will focus on supply chain execution and drive process improvements to ensure alignment with program priorities.

Program Managers are responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from proposal development through execution and contract closeout. Primary responsibilities require oversight of all functions across the supply chain for a particular work scope, including but not limited to: Requirements and Planning, Supplier Management, Business Management, Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Logistics.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered expert in field within the organization
Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives
Most assignments are complex and performed independently without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

Proficient in MS Office suite including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Project (scheduling)
Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering; 8 years of experience with a Master's degree; 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Experience leading a team/process/project
Must have an Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the last 5 years
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access
Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationGoods Movement, Supplier Quality, Subcontracts and/or Procurement experience
