As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Innovation development team, you will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Support manufacturing concepts and processes for production applications of advanced technologies including, but not limited to composites fabrication, assembly, automation, inspection, direct part manufacturing and LO technologies. Performs fabrication, assembly and testing based activities in support of multiple projects. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Support engineering on design concepts, TRL/MRL maturity, and specification requirements to best utilize resources and manufacturing techniques. Ensure processes and procedures are followed and in compliance with regulations. This position will involve interfacing with various support organizations and management. Occasional travel, between sites may be required.
Associate's Degree or other equivalent education/training and experience with 1 year of related Engineering Technician experience.
This position requires having an active Secret DoD Clearance to start and the ability to maintain. This position also requires having the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
Must be able to individually manage multiple tasks concurrently and provide technical support to engineering on a variety of different projects.
Must be proficient in written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and team skills.
Experience with overseeing composite fabrication efforts and coordinating technician activities.
Leads the assembly and bonding together of components and substructures.
Capable of providing technical training, sharing best practices, and mentoring others.
Prior safety representative experience with facilitating safety related training and awareness for team.
Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and process procedures.
