Northrop Grumman is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer level 4 to support our Palmdale CA CoE Site.
Position can be supported from either in Palmdale, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA
As part of the Advanced Technology center's Modeling and Simulation team, the candidate will fill the role of simulation architect and lead software developer. Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and test of physics-based, real-time engineering simulations in support of Operator-In-The-Loop (OITL) mission simulations.
Simulations include air vehicle flight, sensor/payload operations and employment, and advanced Electronic Warfare effects.
Candidate will design the simulation infrastructure to interface with new or existing frameworks and will be leading the effort to implement the most appropriate technical approaches.
Expectations include extensive customer interface and collaboration with system architects to support integration and minimize risks.
Candidate will contribute to high-visible activities and have opportunities to periodically demonstrate integrated capabilities to sector leadership and high value customers.

Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9 Years of experience with Bachelors in Science or 7 Years of experience with Masters or 4 Years with PhD Do you meet this requirement?
Strong computer/engineering modeling skills using C#/C++, JAVA, or other Object Oriented programming languages.
An understanding and experience with Service Oriented Architectures and related technologies.
A Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position and the ability to obtain an SCI and special program access.
The ability to develop (C# and JAVA) and integrate prototype and pre-production software to support simulation events.
Systems and software integration experience related to Service Oriented Architectures.
An ability to work with a team in a rapid prototyping environment.
An ability to create top level briefings and demonstrate excellent presentation skills.
