Are you ready to start defining possible with Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems wants you to join our Team as Principal / Sr Principal Logistics Management Analyst based at Palmdale, Ca.
You will work in a dynamic team to control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information in order to meet customer requirements. You will ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved. You will also ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. You will communicate these processes to the team and leadership in order to meet business goals. You will analyze situations to discover facts, knowledge, interpretations to carry out and prescribe actions. You will also integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
You will need the ability to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours. You will be subject to a variety of physical conditions and will need to adapt to external and internal environments. You will need to be able to flexibly work in different physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel).
This position may be offered at the Principal or Sr Principal level.
Principal: 10 years of relevant logistics management experience and High School diploma or equivalent; or 6 years experience with Bachelors; or 4 years with Masters.
Sr Principal: 14 years of relevant logistics management experience and high school diploma or equivalent; or 10 years experience with Bachelors; or 8 years with Masters.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of Aviation and Aerospace technical data.
Have technical aptitude for large mechanical/chemical materials.
Proficient in the use of SAP and have procurement experience.
Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 30-50 lbs. overhead.
Willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
A valid U.S. passport.
Ability to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location.
Ability to comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox.
Ability to meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
Current DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.
Current Top-Secret clearance.
Bachelor or higher degree in logistic related field with experience in mobility and load planning.
Extensive knowledge understanding of logistic elements; supportability, inventory management and logistics support.
Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Extensive SAP and Passport inventory program experience.
Salary Range: $78,500 - $117,700
Salary Range 2: $97,400 - $146,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
