Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will support our Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Innovation development team and will be located in Palmdale, CA.
As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Innovation development team, you will define, develop, implement, and transition new technology solutions to manufacturing to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve quality. The selected individual will be responsible for maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Interacting with users and evaluating vendor products; making recommendations to purchase hardware and software; coordinating installation and providing backup recovery; developing and monitoring policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Minimum of a Bachelors degree with 3 years of experience with multi-user computer systems, including configuration of networks and servers; OR a Master's Degree with 1 year of experience with multi-user computer systems, including configuration of networks and servers.
Experience with using Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio)
Self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance and Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in meeting customer requirements/expectations
Direct experience statusing and/or communicating to all levels of the organization
