Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aContract Administrator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

Essential Functions:

  • Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

  • Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accountingfrom an accredited institution

  • 10 years ofContracts or Subcontractsexperience in an Aerospace Environment

  • 6 years of experience in detailed proposal preparation, review and negotiations

  • Current Secret Clearance (in scope within the last6 years) required to start and the ability to obtain special program access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration,from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of12 years of Contracts or Subcontracts experience in an Aerospace Environment

  • Large scale proposal environment experience, includinglarge scale negotiations
