Northrop Grumman is looking for a Configuration Analyst level 3 to support the Palmdale CACoE.
This position supports cross-programs located in San Diego, CA.
The individual selected for this position will be located at Palmdale, CA and will be required to provide on-site support at Palmdale and Edwards Air Force Base.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting configuration management of both software and hardware as well as documentation activity in support of the Global Hawk, NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance (AGS) and Triton Unmanned Autonomous System (ATS) programs.
Preparation and duplication of software media to include CD label creation.
Maintaining the software library by logging, checking in/out of software media to users, and ensuring traceability of software media.
Processing COI/C forms (Certificates of Installation/Completion) by validating that the required documentation is presented and documented. COI/C forms are required to be uploaded into Teamcenter Enterprise for tracking and traceability.
Manage Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tags in coordination with liaison engineering with the creation and tracking of Engineering Change Request (ECR) in Teamcenter.
Additional tasks include supporting configuration status accounting activity, functional configuration audits, and supplier audits as required.
Candidate must have good communication skills, the ability to work independently within a team environment, and interface with all levels of management.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University and at least 6 years of experience in a Defense environment (or 4 years with a Master's degree).
Must have an active/current DOD Secret clearance (or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance).
Knowledge of hardware and software configuration, data and change management principles, and proficiency in the use of company standard configuration management tools. Hands-on experience using Teamcenter Enterprise and SharePoint tools is preferred.
