Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a talented Associate Quality Assurance Policy and Strategy Analyst / Quality Assurance Policy and Strategy Analyst (level 1-2) to join our team. This position is located in Palmdale, CA for day and night shifts.

Job Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Works collaboratively with a team to drive Quality Improvement initiatives across the enterprise

  • Monitors policies, governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to advise updates to Northrop Grumman policies and guidelines

  • Contributes to an annual Quality Management System risk evaluations

  • Leads data aggregation, analysis, and refinement of Quality metrics and leads continuous improvement efforts

  • Supports and manages the enterprise Quality Center of Excellence initiatives working groups

  • Develops and presents executive level presentations on Quality Center of Excellence progress to company leadership

  • Supports & maintains standardized training pathways for Quality/Mission Assurance across the Enterprise

  • Maintains and drives improvement of central Quality webpage & shared enterprise resources

  • Assists in the development of a Prevention & Corrective Action Board

  • Supports sector initiatives as applicable to the areas of responsibility above

Basic Qualifications for Associate Quality Assurance Policy and Strategy Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to process and analyze data quickly to identify areas for improvement opportunities

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Experience with non-conformance and Corrective Action Processes

  • Strong communication; Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrates self-starter behaviors; able to take ownership of tasks and drive efforts

  • Strong leadership, assertiveness, facilitation, interpersonal, and virtual communication skills

  • Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau Dashboards, and datasets

Basic Qualifications for Quality Assurance Policy and Strategy Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to process and analyze data quickly to identify areas for improvement opportunities

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Experience with non-conformance and Corrective Action Processes

  • Strong communication; Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrates self-starter behaviors; able to take ownership of tasks and drive efforts

  • Strong leadership, assertiveness, facilitation, interpersonal, and virtual communication skills

  • Experience with AS9100 Quality Systems

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau Dashboards, and datasets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintenance and management of the AS9100 process

  • Experience with AS9145, AS9104, AS9101, and AS9102 Standards

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau Dashboards, and datasets

  • Current DOD Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $58,000 - $87,000

Salary Range 2: $70,200 - $105,200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
