Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to assist the Business Unit in consolidation and reporting of all Business / Financial activities along with our growing team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . This position reports to the Strike & Special Missions Aircraft Business Unit (BU) Business Management Director within the Defense Systems Logistics & Modernization (L&M) Division and partners with the L&M Division Controller Staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacts with a diverse workforce - assisting with day to day operations planning and helping to set and manage priorities

  • Reviews, consolidates, and analyzes monthly financial reporting and forecasts for a portfolio that is 50% intercompany and 50% Direct Prime work-scope

  • Leads monthly Business Unit financial forecast reviews

  • Interfaces as the intermediary (i.e. Focal) with Division Financial / Business Team and the various Operating Units Business Managers

  • Assists the BU Business Management Director in reviewing and documenting quarterly estimates at complete (EAC) reviews

  • Assists the Operating Unit Business Managers and the BU Business Management Director in preparing forecast and variance analysis for applicable indirect rates and budgets

  • Assists the BU Business Management Director in the annual preparation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan

  • Consolidates cash flow forecasts from the Operating Units and assists with variance analysis
