Northrop Grumman is searching for a security professional to perform a wide variety of tasks involving multiple security disciplines related to site security, DoD security and program security.
The following tasks are examples of work that will be performed:
Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents and equipment
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
Obtains rulings, interpretations and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
Conducts security education classes and security audits
Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
Extensive interfacing with internal and external customers
Shall be available for 24/7 on-call alarm duties and as deemed necessary
Classified receipt and dispatch services for classified material
Interacts with HR in employee related issues
Briefing/debriefing personnel for activities such as new hires, terminations, foreign and defensive travel and customer specific and programmatic briefings
Reconciles multiple databases for accuracy
Responsible for reviewing and entering data to an access control system
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 3 years Security(Industrial, Physical, DoD, Operational)experience
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Bachelor's degree and six years of security experience or a master's degree and four years of security experience.
Active Top Secret clearance
Experience with NISPOM andDoDM 5200 Series
