Northrop Grumman Contract Administrator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Northrop Grumman Global Logistics & Modernization Division of Northrop Grumman Technical Services is looking for a Contract Administratorto join our Oklahoma City Aircraft Sustainment & Modernization Center (ASMC) in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.

  • Conducting proposal preparation (preparing bids), contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

  • Contract administration-process contractual documentation and reports, advise management of contractual rights and obligations

  • Facilitating proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries

  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports

  • Examine proposal requirements and estimates, prepare bids, analyze terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

  • Developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

  • Working under only very general supervision and able to make sound decisions in timely manner.

  • Opportunity to make presentations to small groups

  • Effective interface with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers and meet the goals/objectives of the ASMC Team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 or moreyears relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management or Master's Degree and1 year relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management

  • Must be able to effectively work with the management of other organizations (program management, subcontracts, business management, and supply chain management) as well as representatives of Government agencies

  • Must have a general understanding of and experience with Government contracting

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to work as a team player, be proactive in identifying and resolving problems, have excellent organizational skills, and effective time management skills

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain aSecret Security Clearance

  • US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration & management
