Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialistto support procurement of goods and services for several end customers. This position will be located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Responsibilities include full cradle to grave procurement/buying activity defined, but not limited to, the following:
Verifies/validates purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to vendor database; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
Prepares and submits request for proposals both in competitiveand non-competitive environments.
Manages and performs source selection down select for winning bids.
Negotiates price and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Performs price analysis on proposed pricing from supplier's utilizing price analysis techniques, market research, historical pricing and price comparisons.
Responsible for award and management of Purchase Orders from order placement to delivery & closeout.
Verifies and approves receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
Validates proper paperwork is received (Certificate of Conformance, Manufacturing Certs).
Authorizes payment for completed orders.
Maintains electronic Purchase Order files in SAP IAWCorporate and sector policy and procedures.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline or 4 years of relevant workexperience
Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, documents, presentations. (i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously
Demonstrated ability working independently to develop and present information to a variety of stakeholders and to package (arrange/assemble) data in a manner consistent with the target audience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
US Citizenship required
ActiveSecret or Top Secret DoDclearance
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
Experience withactivities under US Govt. prime contracts to include spares procurement
Knowledge of Cost Type Contracts and Statements of Work
Existing experience with SAP and/or Maximo Purchasing System
Knowledge of CPSR and government audits
