Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Sustainment Engineering and Technical Center (SETC).

SETC provides sustainment support for the US Air Force B-2 Bomber, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete engineering, reverse engineering and logistics solution efforts to solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability.

This engineer will support the Lead Engineer in execution of various program activities, to include program reviews, test procedure, report, and control plan development and review, requirements management, automated test software development, test execution and witnessing, and hardware selection and specification development.

This program providessupport on projects associated with the design and development of communication, navigation, radar, avionics, power and/or electrical systems architecture, components, circuits, and products or aircraft maintenance. The employee will research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and products for defense systems or commercial purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzecomplex electronic circuitry and precision electro-mechanicalassemblies through simulation or analysis in order to recommendcomponent substitutions or re-design solutions to ensure the integrityof the platform configuration, system safety, and performancespecifications.

  • Identify, analyze, and solve obsolescence issues.

  • Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings.

  • Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.

  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.

  • Identifyprogram problems and assist in the establishing of solutions, such asallocation of resources, improved processes, or changing contractualspecifications.

  • Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of programs.

  • Support process improvement and establishment.

  • Performsfunctional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies,requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translatecustomer requirements into hardware and software specifications

  • Generates reports and presents to Government counterparts, defense contractors, and other cross-functional organizations

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution

  • Be majoring in or having majoredElectrical Engineering or related discipline

  • Havean overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher (unofficial academictranscripts must be provided at time of application by uploading thedocuments to your application or profile)

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cumulative 3.7 GPA

  • OrCAD or similar design tool experience a plus.

  • Experience with aerospace systems.

  • Experience with Air Force customers and aerospace industry and military standards

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).

  • Experience with test planning at the circuit card, equipment and system level.

  • Experience with nuclear hardened systems.

  • Experience with information security, COMSEC and TEMPEST.

  • Experience with DOORS and general requirements management best practices.

  • Experience with embedded software development and/or cybersecurity.

  • Experienceconductinganalysis of electrical components within aircraftmaintenance programs, determining effectiveness and creating writtenrecommendations forincreasing efficiency and effectiveness.
