Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking an High School Technical Intern to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . The selected candidate will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively designing and developing avionics test bench and specialized lab equipment in an avionics test and development laboratory.


  • Learns to utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM, SolidWork or CATIA

  • Contributes to the 2D drawing formats and standards for a wide array of electrical products.

  • Cable assemblies

  • Wiring diagrams

  • Test Bench/Bay interconnects

  • Lab Top Level Cable interconnects

  • Circuit Card assemblies

  • Contributes to internal and customer design reviews for the electrical and system level designs of our products

  • Assists in the development of supporting documentation (operation / user manuals, etc.) for our product lines

  • Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal

  • Assists in coordinating design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and planning groups such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications

  • Conducts Information Security research for technical analysis of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products for integration in a classified environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled full time in high school with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.

  • Involved and interested in STEM classes, extracurricular, clubs, etc.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must have ability to obtain a clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher.

  • Experience with CAD design.

  • Candidates interested in pursuing Engineering undergrad degrees in college and pursuing a career in Engineering will be given preferential treatment.
