Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Ogden, UT and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program.
What you'll get to do:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

This position may have a 9/80 work schedule available. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll bring these qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum 9 years of related experience in systems engineering, program management, production and manufacturing, field deployment, and/or qualification testing; 7 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD
Advanced Linux/Cisco network administration and engineering experience
A minimum 10 years RVA Program experience (e.g., deployment & sustainment), and a minimum 5 years RVA NOC experience
Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+ Certifications
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Active Secret Security Clearance or higher
Demonstrated experience with the Remote Visual Assessment (RVA) System, and RVA Program custom Python scripting
Cyber vulnerability analysis experience
Aerospace / ICBM maintenance experience
Knowledge in design of mechanical and electrical ICBM subsystems
Knowledge of the ICBM missile field, security forces, and ICBM SPO
Excellent time management, schedule estimation, and delegation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment
Results focused, work well within a dynamic environment, be self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, and be able to produce reliable products and documentation within established deadlines
Attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership ability
