Northrop Grumman 2018 Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist 1 - New in Ogden, Utah

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist 1. This role will be located in Ogden, UT.

This position will support the closeout efforts under the ICBM Prime Integration Contract (IPIC).

Job Responsibilities:

This position will require extensive research and close attention to detail. The IPIC contract has been open since 1998 and the administrator will have to research multiple systems to reconcile documents for closeout purposes. Strong experience with excel is required to help identify discrepancies and find other errors. The analyst will need to be well organized and be self-motivated in finishing tasks. The person must be team orientated and able to work with multiple departments. He/She must be comfortable making several follow-up phone calls and sending multiple e-mails for status and have the ability to recognize when issues need to be elevated.

After reconciliation of internal documents, the analyst will be required to send supplier closeout request letters with disposition instructions, patent/new technology certificates, final Summary Subcontract Reports, final invoice/cumulative claims and requests for supplier's release and assignment. When funds are canceling, the analyst will work with the suppliers to receive invoices and deobligate unused funds through contract modifications. The analyst will ensure that the supplier has provided all required forms and releases, per procedure.

TheSubcontract Specialist will work closely with subcontractors as the values paid often do not match and additional research is required. Upon agreement of values, the analyst will be issuing contract modifications and will ensure the procurement file is accurate and complete.

The Subcontract Specialist must have the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. He or She will also collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Minimum3.25 Cumulative GPA

  • US Citizenship

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Application, strong experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.7 Cumulative GPA

  • Strong communications skills

  • Experience with SAP

  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations
