Northrop Grumman Principal Cloud Software Engineer in null, United States
This position will encompass joining a team of system and software engineers responsible for service products and systems affiliated with both the Content Warehouse, (MDR-1) and Event Warehouse (MDR-2). Efforts include Transitioning and Decommissioning legacy system capabilities into the modernized Data Warehouse Platform architecture and improving and maintaining current systems. Close coordination with NSA's Research Directorate R65 and other AMOD contracts.
Candidate will contribute to a Software Design and Development team that will engineer, configure, performance tune, efficiently diagnose, and repair issues with all aspects of the Event Warehouse (EWH) and Content Warehouse (CWH) large scale computer clusters.
BS Degree in STEM Discipline and fourteen (14) years of Software Development experience.
Shall have experience in Java
Shall have experience in Agile
Shall have experience in Hadoop and/or Accumulo
Shall have demonstrated writing skills and shall have generated documents in support of a software development project.
Shall have at least four (4) years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++.
TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
Shall have at least five (5) years experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
Shall have demonstrated experience working with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, CloudBase/Acumulo, Big Table, etc.
Shall have demonstrated work experience with the Map Reduce programming model and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.
Shall have demonstrated work experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
Shall have demonstrated work experience with serialization such as JSON and/or BSON.
Shall have demonstrated work experience developing Restful services
