Description of Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide capture execution and leadership for Mission Systems (MS) Sector opportunities in Australia. The successful candidate must possess relevant domain experience and ability to develop and execute win strategies for Company Strategic opportunities.

The role requires the incumbent to successfully integrate as part of a complex multi-functional team to achieve endorsed business outcomes.

The role requires the:

  • In conjunction with executive leadership and related disciplines the proven ability to develop actionable capture plans.

  • The proven ability to work with executive leadership, bid management and business development management to develop and deliver winning proposals.

  • Convene multi-functional teams to create mission discriminators through affordable, innovative technology and engineering, management strategies, and cost strategies.

  • Present the strategies and plans to senior management in a concise fashion to enable timely strategic decisions and tactical implementations.

  • Develop and integrate industry teams as appropriate to successful bids.

The successful candidate must also work with Competitive Analysis (CA), Position-to-Win (PTW) and Price Strategy teams to ethically obtain competitor information, formulate PTW baselines and develop cost models from which to drive a cost effective solution / bid.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for customer interfaces and collaboration across Northrop Grumman Australia, i.e. across Northrop Grumman sectors and the divisions within MS.

Educational Level andType:

Formal qualifications and/or experience as relevant to the domain and role

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 yrs hands-on experience incapture management, business development, and program management activities

  • Experience qualifying targets and leadingcapture opportunities with a value of $100 million or greater in for Australiangovernment agencies

  • Domain expertise in Defence hightechnology and complex systems.

  • Deep understanding of the Australiandefence marketplace

  • Experience in translating customerviews and market data into new concepts of operation that drive affordable, innovativesolutions and associated value propositions

  • Working knowledge of Australian governmentprocurement policies and regulations

  • Excellent written and verbalcommunications

  • Leadership and time managementskills

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% ofthe time
