Are you an experienced engineering professional looking for a rewarding and challenging career as a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to support advanced weapons concepts? If so, Northrop Grumman Defense Systems. This position can be located in Northridge, CA or Tucson, AZ.
In this role, you will be working with other engineers and analysts to implement advanced weapon technologies. You will translate key functional requirements into software requirements incorporate them into the software framework. From there, you will then assess existing software for possible reuse in combination with new development, then support integration in a lab environment and verify and support validation of the final software product.
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:
•Software requirements development
•Software architecture and detailed design
•Software implementation
•Software test
•Software requirements verification and validation
Basic qualifications are:
•BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics
•Current/active U.S Government issued DoD Secret Clearance - issued or adjudicated within the past five (5) years
•15+ years C/C++ programming experience
•Experienced in embedded systems software development, integration, and testing
•Experienced in CMMI Level 3 software development processes
•Experienced in Software Architecture Development
•Knowledgeable in Open System Architecture (OSA) processes

Salary Range: $139,000 - $241,400
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
