Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is in search of a Software Test Engineer to function as a software test lead for Advanced Programs in Northridge, CA .
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
Act as software test technical lead for a small team of engineers
Develop and execute test plans and procedures
Write test reports
Develop software for special test equipment
Assist with integration and test
Formal qualification testing
Interface with the customer
Provide status to program management
Relocation assistance, while not be guaranteed, may be available.
•Active Secret clearance
•BSCS, BSEE, or other related engineering discipline with 9+ years experience
•Proficient with C/C+•Proficient in the use of basic laboratory test equipment (power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, etc.)
•Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports
•Experience performing HW/SW integration and test
•Active Top Secret clearance or Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 5 years
MSCS, MSEE or other related engineering discipline with 7+ years experience
•Experience with Agile software development lifecycle
•Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, Coverity, Fortify
•Experience developing software drivers for standard interfaces such as 232/422, 1553, SPI, GPIB, TCPIP
