Manages a staff of master schedulers and production planners that plan, prepare, issue and coordinates the material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production master schedule.
Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
Responsible for the tracking, containment, and movement of all government property assets within the facility
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent related experience) with 10 years relevant experience; Masters and 8 years experience. Previous management experience required.
5 Plus years of direct MRP/ERP system experience required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government issued Secret clearance within a time frame set forth by management; US citizenship is required.
APICS certificate preferred.
Previous employment working for a DOD contractor.
MMAS knowledge and experience.
