Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking an Assembler 2 to join our team in Northridge, CA .

In this role, the selected candidate will :

•Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/ or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, and cables.

•Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.

•Understand quality specifications.

•May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions

•Work from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs.

•Travel to and support other sites as needed (up to 25%); primarily traveling to our Ridgecrest, CA location.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of two (2) years of assembly (or related) experience.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government issued Secret clearance within a timeframe set forth by management; US citizenship is required.

• Must be willing and able to travel as required; most travel will be done via vehicle to our Ridgecrest, CA location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current/active Secret clearance.
