Northrop Grumman's Fleet Deployment Training Support (FDTPS) program is seeking a motivated Training Scheduler to join their team at the Afloat Training Group in Norfolk, Virginia.

Job Duties:

-Schedule and deconflict Navy surface unit level training in accordance with policies and procedures

-Host scheduling conferences for long range deconfliction with Atlantic-based Navy ships and stakeholders

-Provide scheduling and associated business rules training

-Coordinate Navy training manning to ensure missions are adequately staffed

-Provide quality assuarance metrics to stakeholders with respect to training and staffing


Basic Qualifications:

-A Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience OR a Master's degree with 1 year experience; High School Diploma - equivalent with 7 yrs experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement

-Knowledge and familiarity with Navy training operations, policy, doctrine, systems and staff procedures

-Experience managing/prioritizing projects

-A current Secret (or higher) security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

-5 years experience as an operator/technician iwth MSP, TORIS, and DRRS-N

-Experience as part of a command training organization
