About Your Opportunity:
A key member of the engineering team, the Lead Network Engineer will take a central role in all aspects of the Infrastructure System Development Lifecycle. The role sits within the Multi-Domain Integration (MDI) Systems Engineering Team which provides support across all Command and Control (C2) product development and C5ISR solution delivery.

Your Responsibilities:
Work with senior engineers and Stakeholders to elicit User Requirements, guiding more junior engineers through the process to document, estimate and prioritise customer requirement sets .
Work with senior engineers and Stakeholders to produce System Design Documents, such as both High and Low Level Designs and O perational Concept Descriptions.
Take responsibility for the implementation of large scale or complex technical solutions, working in multi-discipline teams to ensure appropriate levels of documentation and testing are undertaken prior to completion of any tasking. Coaching and mentoring more junior engineers in the tools, techniques and procedures being used to complete the task.
Undertake documentation reviews of other engineers' work, ensuring documentation is of good quality and aligns to t he standards set by the project.
Perform Integration and/or Regression testing of infrastructure, generating test reports and raising bugs where required.
Your Experience:
At least 5 years demonstrable experience of:
Network systems in a LAN and WAN environment
Cisco wireless, switches and routers
Cisco VPN and other MFA solutions
Firewalls and edge security such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Sophos and Websense
Network security - such as ISE and other NAC capabilities
