If so, Our Defense Systems wants you to join our team as a Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3)/Sr. Principal Program Cost & Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) and to partner with Program Management through the preparation, reporting, and in-depth analysis of actual, Indicated Final (IF), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) financials. This position is in a fast paced, strategic growth area that will require excellent time management and prioritization skills. This role will be on-site located in Mesa, AZ . You will be expected to work on site in Mesa, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for program portfolio Month End close activities including: preparing financial forecasts, conducting variance analysis and reviewing financial results with Integrated Product Team
EAC (estimate at complete) preparation and analysis of programs on a quarterly basis to determine if financial profitability obligations will be achieved at program completion
Establishing program baselines for new awards including: labor and material spend profiles and billing / cash flow forecasts
Prepare Annual Plan, including orders, sales, profit and cash flow forecasting for program family and bridge analysis to prior plan
Partnering with Program Manager as integral member of the product family team
Cost Control reporting
Tracking and understanding material allocations by project
Unbilled analysis, backlog review, other miscellaneous tasks
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
Other duties as assigned

Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3)
Basic Qualifications
This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years professional experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Will also consider:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Strong Financial modeling skills
Microsoft Office - Excel skills must be intermediate level or higher
Must have strong analytical skills in a complex project accounting environment
Must be an agile learner and able to grasp business processes and concepts easily and quickly
Sr Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4)
Basic Qualifications
This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years professional experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Will also consider:
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Master’s degree and 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Strong Financial modeling skills
Microsoft Office - Excel skills must be intermediate level or higher
Must have strong analytical skills in a complex project accounting environment
Must be an agile learner and able to grasp business processes and concepts easily and quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent analytical skills and ability to multitask are significant advantages.
Proposal experience in preparation and submittal for multi-million-dollar programs.
Experience with Cobra
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000
Salary Range 2: $95,000 - $142,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
