We are looking for you to join our team as an Electronics Engineer based out of Melbourne, FL. As an Electronics Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You'll get to Do:

The Electronics Engineer will join a dedicated, highly engaged engineering team in sunny Florida to support the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP). The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting new production and repairs of MP-RTIP Radar Processors. This includes supporting troubleshooting (both by telephone and in person) of the Radar Processor Test Set, participating in problem discussions with the RP OEM, supporting DMS redesign activity of components used in the RP, and making recommendations for material lay-in and test set spares. This is a position in which the candidate has the opportunity to grow and work with a team of engineers with an abundance of subject matter expert knowledge and directly impact the success of an important mission. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade level based on the requirements below.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics or relevant engineering degree with 14 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 12 years of experience.

  • Experience with radar processor design, maintenance, troubleshooting, integration and test.

  • Experience updating and troubleshooting radar processor firmware

  • Experience working with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers

  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access

  • Strong communication skills, along with the ability to work well individually or within a team environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
