Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator to join our team of talented, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
In this role, the selected candidate:
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of Government Contracts experience or Business Management related to Government Contracts experience; 8 years with a Masters' degree.
Active Secret Clearance that has been updated within the last 6 years.
Experience with FAR/DFAR.
Top Secret Clearance preferred.
Exquisite communication skills both written and oral
Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully juggle multiple competing priorities and deadlines
Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively drive projects to completion
