Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Software Engineer 4 â€ Software Supplier Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida .
This position is responsible for the coordination and on-schedule completion of all supplier software development, deliverables, and other S/W efforts for supplier-developed subsystems. Responsibilities include review and approval of supplier software and SRL deliverables, compliance artifacts, as well as on-site witnessing of S/W testing. This position will also support coordination of supplier build plans with the program plans, supplier software deliveries, and test support.
Bachelorâ€™s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9 years of software engineering experience OR
Masterâ€™s Degree in Bachelorâ€™s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 7 years of software engineering experience
Experience in object-oriented analysis and design
Experience developing software with languages such as C/C++ and Java
Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows development
Active in-scope DoD Secret or TopSecret clearance
Masterâ€™s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field with 15+ yearsâ€™ experience
Experience in US Government Working Groups and/or Consortiums
Preference to work in software/hardware integration and rapid prototyping
Working knowledge of military communication technologies such as (BLOS/LOS RF communications, Control Interfaces, Sensors)
Working knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP) based networks, Software Engineering design, development and test methodologies, and Tactical Data Links
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Current possession of Top Secret clearance a plus
Able to collaborate in a team environment
Able to work independently and identify solutions to complex problems
Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours
