Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Sensors and Electronic Warfare Lab Systems Test Engineer3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.
Perform lab integration and test for the EW lead
Responsible for testing hardware and software in a laboratory environment
Responsible for developing test equipment requirements and integration of the electronics elements of the electronic warfare subsystem. This includes, but is not limited to, developing test procedures, test points, and test reports
Interface with the subsystem cognizant engineer, flight test planning, subsystem integration, and systems integration teams
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of test and/or integration engineering experience OR
Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 3 years of test and/or integration engineering experience OR
PhD Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
Demonstrated technical understanding of electronic warfare or similar RF systems. Similar systems and technologies include SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, DF, spectrum monitoring, radar, radio/wireless communications, receiver design, and digital signal processing
A current DoD Secret level security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years
Must be able to obtain and maintain program access prior to start
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Familiarity Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulators (CEESIMs)
Experience working in a lab environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
