Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Management4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects within the Manned C2/ISR IPT and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of10 years experience working in projectmanagement, business management (finance), and / or operations management

  • BS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace and defense industry experience

  • Project planning / scheduling experience (IMP/ IMS)

  • Cost account manager experience (EVMS)

  • Risk and opportunity management experience

  • Proposal development experience

  • Advanced training in project management

  • MS degree
