Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Management 3 at the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Melbourne, Florida.

Responsibilities

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

The Statement of Work (SOW) for this position includes the development, coordination and program approval of the Strike Enterprise facilities requirements into cohesive plans suitable for submittal to Melbourne Site Facilities for approval and implementation. The Strike Program Facilities Integration organization is responsible to provide phones, desks, PC and building foot print to ensure all assigned employees have the personal resources required to execute their program SOW.

This candidate will provide oversight of and management of the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. This individual will also provide horizontal and vertical integration of the infrastructure work products and services for the various enterprise segments ensuring compliance to applicable plans, facility specifications and best practices. This candidate is expected to possess strong leadership characteristics to interact as a peer with program leadership to include Program Office, Chief Engineering Office, Business Manager, Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and Global Supply Chain Management. This individual will represent Strike Facility requirements working closely with Melbourne Site Facilities Office and outside suppliers as necessary to minimize impact or disruption to the program and its employees as building footprint becomes available and or new employees come on board.

Basic Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in project management OR

·Master’s degree and 4 years of experience in project management

·Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain it

·Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Requirements

·Project Management Professional Certification

·Knowledge of process architecture methodologies
