Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL.

This role of the program integrator includes managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as the liaison between program management and functional management. This individual contributor will work under the direction of IPT leadership supporting daily execution of the program including cost, schedule and technical performance. Work side by side with the Program Managers on all program reporting including All Hands briefs, Navy Customer briefs and executive level presentations. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors, coordinates, and manages resolutions of program sustainment challenges and issues impacting fleet readiness. Interactions span all logistics disciplines including supportability, reliability, maintainability, publications, training, supply support, repair of repairables and support equipment.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages program rhythm and associated calendars

  • Develops/maintains Program Definition Documents (PDDs)

  • Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management

  • Non-technical requirements management

  • Action Item Management

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with 3 years of related experience OR Master's degree from an accredited university with 1 year of related experience

*Working knowledge of Project Management processes and the Integrated Management Framework

*Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

*A current DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of logistics disciplines including interfaces between logistics elements as well as interfaces with other program IPTs and the fleet customer

  • Experience with Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management

  • Experience creating and facilitating program rhythms

  • SharePoint user experience
