Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal / Senior Principal Project Management - Test and Eval Planning Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL .

This role may be filled at the Principal OR Senior Principal level based on qualifications, below

In this role, the selected candidate will work directly with the systems test team to manage and direct projects within the test organization. Provide oversight of projects and daily tasking of technical and business resources, aspects of the strategic operations rhythm and programmatic implementation support, and provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage multiple team projects, preparing status reports, assessing project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Develop tools and methodologies for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers

  • Create templates for presentations and documents and assist with document preparation to ensure quality and consistency across team deliverables

  • Coordination with internal customers, external customers, partners, suppliers, and project team members\

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating processes and process changes to impacted stakeholders

  • Interfacing with functional roles for staffing and forecasting

  • Ensuring consistent, predictable team progress to weekly, monthly, and annual goals

  • Prepare status charts, presentation slides, metrics, and tracking spreadsheets along with supporting project teams

  • Manage operational tasks through the implementation of Project Management principles

Basic Qualifications (Principal):

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master's degree AND 4 years of related professional/military experience

  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher-level clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company

Basic Qualifications (Sr. Principal):

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 10 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master's degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience

  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher-level clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in one or more of the following specialized skills: Project Management, Agile Team Management, or Technical Communications

  • Proficient in Systems, Applications, & Products (SAP)

  • Experience with JIRA or other agile process management tools

  • Expertise with the entire Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management

  • Software test automation experience

  • DoD Top Secret Clearance

  • Current SAP/PAR program clearance

  • Previous E-2D Hawkeye experience

Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000

Salary Range 2: $95,000 - $142,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
