Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems -Training Integrated Product Team at Melbourne, FL is seeking a Principal Flight Simulation Tranier
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
Plan, develop, and coordinate product training courseware for field support personnel and customers in support of various aircraft and Aircrew Training Device modification programs including Integrated Releases (IRs).
Develop task lists, objectives, syllabi and training products according to DoD, USAF and ACC operating instructions and Instructional System Design (ISD).
Obtain information needed to develop initial training documents (Student Guides, Instructor Guides, Visual Aids, etc.); prepare training materials; develop course content; determine methodology and coordinate the development of training aids.
Conduct instruction of academic and training device sessions and development of criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of military training experience OR a Master's Degree and 4 years of military training experience or 10 years of years of military training experience in lieu of degree
Previously qualified as an E-8C airborne technician or maintenance technician (Active Duty or National Guard) or airborne tech or maintenance experience in other Command and Control platforms.
Possess working experience with Instructional System Design and as a Military Instructor.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD SECRET clearance. An interim clearance is required to start
Master's Degree is a plus
Qualified on the E-8C aircraft within the preceding five (5) years (Active Duty or National Guard).
In-depth knowledge of Joint STARS Prime Mission Equipment-Maintenance Training Device (PME-MTD) and/or Mission and Maintenance Trainer (MMT) operations.
