We are currently seeking an experienced aircraft Environmental Control Systems Analyst capable of working under minimum supervision. The qualified candidate will perform fluid system related analysis in support of the development of aircraft subsystems as well as the integration of aircraft avionics and the installation of various aircraft hardware. Analysis including, but not limited to, subsystem performance modeling, such as liquid cooling systems, Air Cycle systems, fluid distribution systems, compartment temperature assessments as influenced by structural heat transfer and compartment
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5+ years of experience or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
discipline from an accredited university with 3+ years of experience, performing thermodynamic, fluid mechanic and/or heat transfer analysis related to military/commercial aircraft and subsystems
Experience with thermal analysis or fluid system analysis
Current DoD clearance, refreshed within the past 6 years
Experience interpreting component detail drawings, specifications, installation drawings, and test procedures
Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with focus on thermodynamic, fluid mechanic and heat transfer analysis
Experience in thermodynamic and heat transfer related environmental qualification of components
Experience modeling fluid systems utilizing Amesim software, heat transfer networks using NX Thermal software, and/or CFD experience
