Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Antenna Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL .
The Principal Antenna Engineer that will be responsible in developing design concepts, system specifications, & test plans. The individual will generate performance specifications (PSPECS) & Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW); as well as interface with suppliers and support cross IPT integration with air vehicle and survivability. This role coordinates the activities of engineers and other support functions to ensure the on time delivery of all CNI apertures.
The successful individual is expected to be a highly-motivated, self-starter who is willing to work at a fast pace in a team setting.
Support communication system analysis, design, engineering capture, build, requirements management, and integration
Perform review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration, and support test execution
Perform liaison duties to disseminate information to suppliers, responsible engineers (REs), leadership, and other Integrated Product Teams and external customers
Ability to clearly communicate technical information through reports and presentations.
BS degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) educational field and 5 years of engineering experience OR Masters degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) educational field and 3 years of engineering experience
Active DoD secret security clearancewith an investigation date within the last 6 years.
Ability to obtain and maintain special program access
