Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Program Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related aerospace experience; or Master's degree and 8 years of experience.
Exposure/experience with all aspects of Program Management in order to properly direct those requirements for execution; as well as familiarity with project planning, resource allocation and budgeting
Ability to lead the customer through reviews of both technical and financial performance and experience leading Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
The ability to travel 25% of the time
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to attain and maintain Program Access
Experience with the E-2D platform and/or Navy System of Systems capabilities or association with SoS highly desired
Experience with DoD industry related EVMS systems, DoD industry related Risk/Opportunity Management system and Management systems
Experience with Radar & Tracking systems, managing a program and subcontractors
Experience with proposal development and negotiation
