Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Fuels - Product Trainer or Principal Product Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL for the Product Support Group. Operating on our 9/80 schedule meaning you will get every Friday off. The position has no opportunity for remote or telework.
*This position may be filled by either a Product Trainer or a Principal Product Trainer level based on the qualifications listed. **
The successful candidate needs to be experienced with aircraft fuel systems and with the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) framework for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating (ADDIE) learning systems. Candidate with a fuels background will use their expertise to select appropriate instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstration-performance, problem-based learning, student-centered learning, and guided discussion. Support, build, and promote a positive and collaborative culture across all teams. Develop and maintain expert level knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
Basic Qualifications Product Trainer:
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years' relevant experience; OR a Masters' Degree with 1-year relevant experience; OR 7 years' experience in lieu of Degree.
6 or more years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience as an Aircraft Fuels Technician to include fuel storage, distribution, dump, indicating and inflight refueling systems. (Special considerations will be given for more diverse experience)
3 or more years of aircraft maintenance classroom instruction and course development at a Field Training Detachment (special considerations will be given for diverse development experience).
Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Must have working knowledge of customer compliance documents, government instructions, and government standards.
Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of experience in courseware development, instruction, or industry training content development.
An Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher that has been granted / renewed within the past 6 years.
Special Program Access
A background with Fuel System Safety and Confined Space Program requirements outlined in TO 1-1-3 and DAFMAN 91-203.
Able to interpret schematic drawings, and technical publications.
Experience inspecting, servicing, maintaining, fault isolation and troubleshooting fuel systems.
Capable of performing fuel leak evaluation, classification, and fuel tank repair.
Basic understanding of Agile processes.
Design and development of curriculum for advanced technologies.
Experience using courseware development tools - LCMS and LMS
Salary Range: $55,100 - $82,700
Salary Range 2: $67,800 - $101,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
