Under limited direction, design and develop wiring harness/cable assembly installations into air vehicles for multiple aerospace programs using SAE AS 50881 and proven commercial practices as a guide. The candidate must be familiar with wire harness design and routing principles such as emi separation, military connectors and backshells, shielding and overbraid, splicing, minimum bend radius, chafe protection, electrical bonding, and grounding.

This position will require inter-departmental coordination with other vehicle sub-system departments including aircraft structure, equipment installation, hydraulics, Environmental Control Systems, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities will also include facilitation of design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements. Candidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.



Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a 3D design tool such as NX, Catia V5 EWB, or ProE. or a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 4 years' design experience in a 3D design tool.
