Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Cyber Systems Engineer/Principal Cyber Systems Engineer tojoin our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida .
This is a dual level requisition that can be offered at either the Cyber Systems Engineer OR Principal Cyber Systems Engineer title and level based upon the chosen candidates education, experience, and skillset.
The selected Cyber Systems Engineer will have experience with information assurance or cybersecurity implementation based on DoD, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI), and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, policies, and guidance.
Requirements development and analysis
Preparation of technical documents
Interface with other functional areas and internal management with a focus on program execution and mission assurance
Use of Risk Management Framework and systems engineering methodologies and techniques for completion of cyber security engineering duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of relevant engineering experience OR Master's Degree in STEM discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of relevant engineering experience
Experience working in software and hardware development environments
An active, in-scope DoD Secret level security clearance (or above)
The ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet program objectives
Experience with DoD system requirements and verification activities
Experience validating security assessments and reviews
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and requirements development from controls
Experience developing RMF documentation material (e.g. SCTM, PO&AM, SAP)
Possess a DODD 8570 certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar network/security certifications
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering Tools such as Cameo (or others)
Experience generating system level requirements and working with DB Tools such as DOORS
