Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
The selected candidate will have experience with Information Assurance or Cybersecurity implementations based on DoD, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI), and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, policies, and guidelines.
Use of systems engineering methodologies and techniques
Risk Management Framework (RMF) utilization
Development and analysis of requirements
Preparation of technical documents in a fast-changing, dynamic environment with minimal direction
Responsible for system requirements and verification engineering duties as assigned
Interface with other functional areas, internal management with a focus on effective program execution and mission assurance

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree and 0 years of relevant experience
Experience working within software and hardware development environments
An active, in-scope DoD Secret level security clearance (or higher)
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time as deemed appropriate by the company to meet business objectives prior to establishing a start date
An active, in-scope DoD Secret level (or above) security clearance
Experience with DoD System Requirements and Verification activities
Experience validating security assessments and reviews
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and requirements development from controls
Possess a DODD 8570 certification, such as CompTIASecurity+, CISSP, or similar system modeling tools
Experience developing RMF documentation material (e.g. SCTM, PO&AM, SAP, PPIP)
Experience generating system level requirements and working with DB tools such as DOORS
